7 reasons not to mess with a child:
A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face.." "Yes," the class said. "Then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?" A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty." Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. "Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'" A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher, She's dead." Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said,"Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?" Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher: reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah." The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?" The little girl replied, "Then you ask him." Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute." Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples." Posted by Hello

7 reasons not to mess with a child:
A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to honor thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered,"Thou shall not kill." Posted by Hello

I Won't Last a Day Without You (Carpenters)

Day after day I must face a world of strangers
Where I don't belong, I'm not that strong
It's nice to know that there's someone I can turn to
Who will always care, you're always there

When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you

So many times when the city seems to be without a friendly face
A lonely place
It's nice to know that you'll be there if I need you
And you'll always smile, it's all worthwhile

When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you

Touch me and I end up singing
Troubles seem to up and disappear
You touch me with the love you're bringing
I can't really lose when you're near

If all my friends have forgotten half their promises
They're not unkind, just hard to find
One look at you and I know that I could learn to live
Without the rest, I found the best

When there's no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won't come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won't last a day without you

I'm watching the basketball game between AdU and UP. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME. I can't believe this. I have a paper (FILIPINO) due on Thursday about the play Elaine, Mic and I watched last night and I'm watching BASKETBALL. My school isn't even playing.

Lately I've been feeling so down. I'm not as enthusiastic to study as I used to be. I think I just got an F in the last Theo quiz, I got a -3 in my Psy101 test (the highest was perfect +1), Filipino is just blah and SA is just as bad. And not just academics.

I organize a meeting for the volunteers of my ADS project, making sure that no ADS events AND Celadon events would be held on that day (and time) and then the ADS president decides to move a DIPA seminar to the date I planned. So much for reserving the venue. It was the perfect date, time and venue. Now when am I going to hold that meeting. AND THE PRESIDENT WANTS WEEKLY UPDATES???

To my friends (lalo na kay Laine and Mic), I feel like a nuisance and an idiot. I couldn't attend Jules' party, I LOST a P150-worth ticket (and now owe my life to LuJean), I can't stop crying - Lainey noticed because the state of my eye bags have gone from bad to REALLY bad... to top it all off, I feel bad for feeling bad when Krissy (and so many other people) has a lot more reason to feel bad. I can't even help my apo think of a band name! I used to help them with their class presentations and I can't think of a NAME. Pathetic.

I hate this pity party. STOP. Smile. Bear it. Live with it. C'est la vie.

imysm...do u?

Celadon people are the best sort. They just are...

Eating noodles now.. it's the best feel-good meal anytime - for me at least.

Have to read Ibong Adarna AND Florante at Laura. Ibong Adarna was never required in ICA so I only know the part about the three guys and the turning into stone. I didn't even know there was more to that story after the dad got well until I read the handouts of the group in charge of reporting Ibong Adarna. Can hardly remember Florante at Laura...

Apart from that, I'll just wait for the phone to ring. Maybe.

No classes today so I went to watch A Cinderella Story. Mic had passes but Greenbelt didn't accept passes so mom, me and him ended up buying tickets anyway. Lainey already watched it with her friends... The story was nice (and so was the guy hehe see pic)... of course it was predictable. Actually it reminds me of one I was writing a few years back. I'll go and dig my old files up and see if I can find it... Posted by Hello

Hands to Heaven

As I watch you move, across the moonlit room
There's so much tenderness in your loving
Tomorrow I must leave, the dawn knows no reprieve
God give me strength when I am leaving...

So raise your hands to heaven and pray
That we'll be back together someday
Tonight, I need your sweet caress
Hold me in the darkness
Tonight, you calm my restlessness
You relieve my sadness

As we move to embrace, tears run down your face
I whisper words of love, so softly
I can't believe this pain, it's driving me insane
Without your touch, life will be lonely

So raise your hands to heaven and pray
That we'll be back together someday
Tonight, I need your sweet caress
Hold me in the darkness
Tonight, you calm my restlessness
You relieve my sadness

Morning has come, another day
I must pack my bags and say goodbye...
Goodbye...

It's such a nice song... originally performed by Breathe, recently remade by Christian Bautista.

Got stuck in traffic for two hours yesterday evening. I've been stuck in worse jams and didn't mind but yesterday... it was cold. The cold that makes you want to go to the CR... Maybe I just discovered the reason behind the MMDA's male urinals - Bayani found himself stuck in traffic and needed to relieve himself badly.

Well I was trying to finish my stat project ("groupwork") so I ended up sleeping at 1am. Didn't finish so was continuing it this morning. We finally passed it... but I still think there are so many missing details. Out of 5 group members, I think only 3 of us really exerted any effort.

Creepy guy is UGH. Why won't he leave me alone >.< I already pretend he doesn't exist but UGH. He actually made me an incoherent unintelligible testimonial in friendster. Good thing I have an excuse to reject it. With or without an excuse I would reject it anyway.

The masseuse is here. I wonder... Do I have the luxury of time to have a massage?? I only have one homework: Theo readings. BUT I also have to prepare questions for the capoeira session I'm attending tomorrow evening for my SA paper. I'll just do it tomorrow. Maybe.

I'm so fat na :'( *sob* I had breakfast this morning, then ate lunch at 10:45 I think. Mike had some seaweed so I ate some too. After that, ate mini keyk in the car... then mom wanted to go to Little Shop so we went there and I had fishball soup and crab rice. Ate two pieces of gummy as soon as I got home then now I'm very very tempted by the Yan Yan... it's calling me ehehe

Picture taking for the legacy page was this morning. Brought Pucca and one of my wacky flowers from Tickles - the same one I used for the HS grad pic pose that I didn't choose LOL. There were... 22 of us? Attempting to simulate the Celadon Room and its organized chaos. Everyone was wearing black haha My hair is so long now. I think it's the longest it's ever grown. Longer than when I was in first year HS? Can't remember though.

Am currently watching the basketball game of ADMU vs. UE. I hope we win of course ehehe ^_^ iDG tomorrow!!! And the Celadon moderator is watching. Hope it's successful.

wanted to put a picture cause my blog looks so text-full... so since my last post was about The Phantom of the Opera, this is the picture I chose hehehe Posted by Hello

Sunday, August 8, 2004

The Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite favorite favorite books. Here is a song from the musical based on the book.

ALL I ASK OF YOU
(Girl, Boy, Both)

No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide-eyed fears;
I'm here, nothing can harm you,
my words will warm and calm you.

Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears;
I'm here, with you, beside you,
to guard you and to guide you.

Say you'll love me ev'ry waking moment;
turn my head with talk of summertime.
Say you need me with you now and always;
promise me that all you say is true,
that's all I ask of you.

Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light;
you're safe, no one will find you,
your fears are far behind you.

All I want is freedom,
a world with no more night;
and you, always beside me,
to hold me and to hide me.

Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime;
let me lead you from your solitude.
Say you want me with you, here beside you,
anywhere you go, let me go too,
that's all I ask of you.

Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime.
Say the word and I will follow you.
Share each day with me, each night, each morning.

Say you love me ...
You know I do.
Love me, that's all I ask of you ...
Love me, that's all I ask of you.

Music: Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Lyrics: Charles Hart, Richard Stilgoe
Show: "The phantom of the opera" (1986).

how to deal with a creep:
1) make sure you're surrounded by a lot of people - and always look busy.
2) do NOT delete them from YM - because then you can't use the stealth settings
3) if they decide to sit facing you in the caf, use friend's head to block creep's line of sight.
4) exit room using door he's farthest from. do not use nearest stair case. instead, walk to the end of the hall and use the stairs there.
5) ignore. just ignore. pretend they do not exist.
