I have so many mosquito bites, I don't know what to do with them all. Can't seem to manage to kill the little blood-sucking bastard. I also have a 3/4 inch scratch on my knee and I don't know how it got there. Not the end of my mental lapses. I lost my silver thermos last Friday. Still attempting to look for it. Also, brought stuff I needed for today then left them in the car. Am I starting to lose my short term memory? I have to do Filipino but I'm stalling again.

emotional volatility

The past week has seen me a mess. I've been swinging from one emotional extreme to another. Noisy, quiet, angry, sleepy, in control, hopeless, laughing for no reason, crying for no reason, feeling witty, feeling stupid, being bitchy.. this is not PMS. Or at least I've never had PMS that was this dramatic. The thousands of things I have to do help keep my mind off this weird "phase," at least for a while. Being with other people is helpful too because I don't want them to see me this way. Almost lost control a while ago but I refused to let go and it went away. Besides, hearing them tease one another keeps me from thinking too much too. As Gen said, thinking is bad. There, just needed to let that out. Time to do the HR script. Then we'll see.

Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you... hehe senti mood? I'm missing someone... wonder who..

Father's Day today. Dad and shoti went to mix a macaroni salad as part of a church Father's Day activity. 5 other father-child teams mixed their own salads - the idea was to have teams from different countries mix different kinds of salads so we had a Chinese team (dad and shoti), USA team, Japan team, Indonesian team, Philippine team and Nigerian team. Cool eh? Also found out a friend in the university also goes to my church. Just found out because I usually don't go to second service while he has never gone to the first service.

Someone gave me a really nice surprise yesterday ^_^

The school year has started and... I'm already studying like mad and stalking people in CRs for my statistics class. I have one teacher for psy 101, 102.1 and 102.2. It's a good thing she's nice or else I'd be miserable for 10 hours a week!

I think my profs for Filipino and Theo are tough. Wah... PE and SA seem fun so at least there's that. And I'm happy about the aircon room - 3 every MW, 2 on F and 1 on Tuesday LOL bilang talaga e. Let's see if i'm still happy when december-january rolls in and I'm freezing.

Everyone says Baby Tigger is cute haha I look like I'm camping nga with my backpack. I like it so much though. I have a side pocket for my umbrella and another one for my silver water thingie.

The books are sooo expensive! O_O!! I borrowed what I could already but otherwise, have to buy.. Thought of photocopying books but mom said not to anymore since my really thick books will end up twice as thick.

I hardly have any breaks.. :( half an hour only every MW, an hour and a half for TTh and zero breaks every Friday. Sarap pa naman magtambay sa CR nyaha And everyone knows that's where to find me if I'm not in class. Tama na nga 'to LOL

Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman
36Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table. 37When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
39When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner."
40Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you."
"Tell me, teacher," he said.
41"Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,[4] and the other fifty. 42Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"
43Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled."
"You have judged correctly," Jesus said.
44Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
48Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
49The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
50Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

So that's why sinners and prostitutes all flock to Jesus. That's my problem, I never fell in love with the Bible. Not yet.. They say that everyone has a particular version they fall for. I haven't encountered the perfect one for me yet.. Then again, I only accepted Jesus after first year HS. And I was raised in a Christian family and studied in a Catholic school. Talk about dense huh?

It was a cool experience. Of course my grandmother died that night... that made it all the more memorable (the date i mean). Well just leave a note if you want me to talk about it. I'm not a big expert and I can only offer so much.

School starts on Monday. Don't know if I'm happy or sad. Just indifferent I think. While I don't want my summer to end, it has been quite an eventful one and studying will keep my mind from wandering too much.

Thank you to those who went to the "surprise" dinner last night, even though our celebrant wasn't surprised LOL I'm sure he appreciated it, there were so many of you who went! I only reserved 30 seats and 40+ arrived. haha Well-loved is a nice way to think about it, considering it was a KKB dinner. We were making so much noise the other restaurant guests were staring at us haha

I got introduced to a lot of new people, more than 10... and I can't remember them all. Still, I'm glad I met them. They were friendly and accomodating though they hardly know me. I must admit I got pretty shy hehe at least I didn't get all tongue-tied.

Summer's ending but the yearbook ain't done yet and there are so many loose strings to tie for the AIVs.. cheers to good luck..

Just finished reading Dan Brown's Deception Point. Brilliant as can be expected from Brown. My favorite from him is still Angels and Demons though. I don't know why Da Vinci Code caught on faster. I suppose the implications it has on the church, Catholic or otherwise, is too juicy to let go. For me, I regard it as pure fiction. Interesting fiction but still fictitious. Many Christians are publishing counterarguments and I guess it is necessary. The book can be dangerous for nonbelievers or those who aren't rooted in faith.

Just watched Harry Potter 3 today too. Other people gave it poor reviews but I say it was done well enough. The book is definitely better but not bad for a flick. We watched all the way till the very end of the credits - nope, no hidden short video at the end haha By the time it finished, we had the whole theater to ourselves though (well ok the janitors were there too hehe). Wah it's been so long since the book was released... third year? LOL Krissy, Dar and I had our own little Harry Potter world... I was Voldemort-a nyahaha How I ended up being called that is beyond me.

Note to self: Life noodles in Tokyo Tokyo delicious.
Second note to self: Remember Cheesecake etc's Black and White (low fat) cake very yummy. Can be birthday cake.

For the past few days, I've been waking up at 9 on the dot. Is that good or bad? Nice work body clock.. Today I wake up at 9 again to hear my dad on the phone talking to my aunt about the Gerber problem. It seems that a terrorist bought 25 Gerber bottles then put poison in 5 of them and put them back in the grocery store. So Gerber Phils. has to remove all Gerber bottles on shelves. And they don't even know what flavor o.O Some people are just plain mean.

I watched Day After Tomorrow yesterday haha That was one really nice movie. I was expecting it to be all apocalyptic, end of the world kinda thing but it isn't. I really like their humor! I love the bits of irony they were throwing around. Plus, I like people who can remain calm and use their heads during emergencies LOL The special effects were really cool too. hahah yea that's the word to describe the movie: Cool. hehe

This reminds me of how Lotta said that people living near the equator are generally more happy-go-lucky - hospitable, friendly and laid back. The chances of their surviving without working too hard are high compared to those who live in places further from the equator. The weather isn't extreme and they won't freeze to death (no snow!) Crops won't freeze to death either. While the people who live in four-seasoned countries have to work hard to last through the winter.

This is a long entry.. I still have to work on the yearbook (yea it ain't finished yet) and organize the tournament things. Can't wait for tomorrow :D
